Absolutely fantastic! ! Caorl and David were so accomodating. The house had everything and more, the kids loved the games room they spent hours up there. The adults loved the garden space and it felt so relaxing. Everything was modern and in good working order. the kitchen was the best equipped we have ever seen. Eight of us in total and loads of room to spread out. Beds were like fluffy clouds. Loved every minute of it.

My 4th visit to Balmedie which never disappoints. Spotlessly clean, everything you need and more. So warm and comfortable. Superb kitchen, very well equipped. Ideally situated for the coast, Hemswell and much more. Hope to return again in the not too distant future. Thank you for a lovely break

We had a great stay at Balmedie. The hosts were great, the house was equipped with everything we neededcould want and everywhere was lovely and clean. The house was in a perfect spot for various day trips and the village had a shop and yummy Chinese. We had the perfect stay.

The property was perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bathrooms were all modern with great showers. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We had a great time. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

Balmedie is spacious, extremely well equipped, in a peaceful location but very near the centre of the village. Some good walks from the door. Owners live next door and were very helpful and full of local knowledge. We enjoyed the box of biscuits and the milk in the fridge welcoming us. We particularly appreciated the six local Ordnance Survey maps in the cottage! Sad that the village pub is now closed and up for sale but the local shop is well stocked and also sells newspapers and there is a fish and chip van in the Market Square most Friday evenings. We had a great holiday in Balmedie, we really enjoy the atmosphere in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

We had another lovely stay at Balmedie. We were fortunate to have good weather so we're able to enjoy the spacious garden as well as the games room. The property has a lot of space and is very comfortable.

We stayed as a larger family to celebrate a special birthday. We had an amazing time. The house was stunning and worked so well for family members for all ages, from 3 months old to 74 years! The addition of the pool table and games room is fabulous. We would love to stay again!

Balmedie is a lovely spacious property, very comfortable and homely. The kitchen is very well stocked with equipment. The games room is a definite bonus. Beds are comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for 7 of us to shower in the morning. Carol came over to say hello when we arrived , although we didn't need her over the weekend it was good to know she was in hand if needed. We had a great weekend and would definitely stay there again if we go back to the area.

We had a wonderful time at Balmedie with six adults and three children, the space was amazing. There is a games room upstairs which the children adored, leaving the adults with lots of time for catching up. The surrounding countryside is lovely as befits an AONB. The house was beautifully clean and spacious with everything we needed for our holiday. Highly recommend.Hosts are very friendly and on hand for assistance if required

This is our third visit to Balmedie and again it didnt disappoint us, the cottage is absolutely spotless, the facilities perfect, great time had in the games room again and everything you could need in the kitchen, also toasty warm which was great with the cold weather whilst there.
