What a lovely place for a relaxing holiday. Everything you would need is there. The garden is so special on a sunny day sitting by the river listening to the birds you can do nothing but relax. Would book again.

We are a family of 4 adults and 2 teenagers and we found the property to be well furnished and in very good condition. There were plenty of facilities including comfortable break out areas well furnished with modern garden furniture and a superb riverside spot where we could sit and watch the boats go up and down. All the furnishings were smart and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. Friendly and helpful welcome from the housekeeper and a big thank you for posting back a leather jacket FOC which our granddaughter forgot. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely welcome, great accomodation, comfy beds, well equipped with most things you could think to need. Plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 children under 10. Kids big and little! loved making use of the garden, relaxing by the river, playing games in the garden, and waving at the passing narrow boats. Bit of noise from wagons and traffic on other side of river, but it didn't really spoil our time. Plenty of areas for outdoor eating we had all meals outside. We took disposable bbqs as we knew there wasn't one on site. The only thing we'd say is it would have been good to have access to a jetty to make best use of kayaking etc direct from the property.

We had an amazing stay here. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed and then some. Its in an extremely quiet area and the weather was perfect to have the windows open and relax. Ive got family nearby so we will definitely be returning here when we visit again.

We all had trouble with the very full pillows in the bedrooms, as 4 of us were in our late 60s the sofas are too low and difficult for our age group. The kitchen was very well equipped and loved how many mugs there were. Thanks for providing soaps etc The garden was lovely and so nice to see a couple of narrow boats and a kingfisher when sitting by the river drinking coffeewine. The covered sitting area was perfect for lunch and tea. Easy parking for our 3 cars. Welcome pack was most appreciated.

First impressions as we entered the property were lovely and smelt beautiful. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained. The bedrooms were just right for us as we were an adult family group so great bedrooms for us all. Elderly mum had the ground floor bedroom to herself although she was lost in the superking bed. Maybe a downstairs shower would have been beneficial for her as she struggled to get upstairs. Hanging space in bedrooms was adequate although each room would have benefited by some drawers for smaller clothing items not hung up so those had to be left in cases. The great sized fridge didnt dispense ice as that compartment was broken but a minor issue only. The welcome hamper was a fabulous touch and we found most useful as things included that we all liked. The garden was spacious and lovely to relax in on days we didnt venture too far. All in all a good place to come together & meet up as a family group from far and wide.

Could not have wished for better, everything was absolutely well done from the wonderful welcome pack to the comfort and attention to detail that went into making a holiday home into a home from home, would definitely recommend if you were staying in the area.

Coronation Cottage is a lovely property close to Ely, Downham Market and Kings Lynn. Our party consisted of 4 couples and the property was fantastic with a large living room, 2 main bathrooms 1 ensuite and a lovely outdoor area. The kitchen was wellstocked with all the cutlery, crockery and pots you'll need to cater for 8 people! Parking for 4 cars no problem! I wouldnt hesitate to rebook Coronation Cottage if we're back in the area.

Great cottage!

Exceptional property with a stunning garden in an idyllic location. The village was so picturesque with the river carrying barges and boats, plus providing a home for the many swans and wildlife. The Coronation Cottage was extremely well planned, with plenty of room to relax in. The beds were so comfortable and the facilitiesequipment provided covered all our needs. The extras and welcome pack provided by Tracey were greatly appreciated. We found lot's to do in the local area and enjoyed a variety of days out. We especially enjoyed the National Trust properties and Downham Market. We would highly recommend Coronation Cottage and would love to return one day. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

The cottage was beautiful and very spacious. We were a family of 5. 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The garden is just magnificent and perfect for lazy sunny days. The welcome from Tracey and the basket of goodies ready for us was very gratefully received. There isnt much to do in Upwell itself but it is very beautiful and you can fish, which we did a lot of. Lots of little walks to do too. We found that anything we wanted to do was at least 35mins to an hour away. We can highly recommend a visit to Ely and Sandringham. We also enjoyed Hunstanton beach.

Fabulous cottage well equipped & very comfortable long garden with pretty river at bottom. Nice welcome pack, but we would have appreciated milk. Useful fish & chip shop & great butchers within few minutes walking distance, plus good Coop short drive away. Great places to visit in local area we particularly recommend Watatunga deer safari park but MUST prebook via internet and Gooderstone Water Gardens, also Ely so interesting & beautiful, with great market some days.

Very nice property but no wardrobes or drawers for clothes in 3 out of the 4 bedrooms! Also you advertise that you can fish the river at the bottom of the garden, this is illegal between March and June and hefty fines can be imposed. Tracy the manager very helpful and the property is comfortable and well equipped.

My family 5 adults and 2 kids had an amazing stay at Coronation Cottage. Its warmcosy, spacious and very well equipped. It felt like home away from home. From the moment we entered the drive way the house had an inviting feel about it. A lovely back garden with outdoor seating leading to the river in the summer would make a great entertainment area. The kitchenutility had all the mod cons we needed for our stay. Rooms and beds were clean and comfy. There was an issue with the common bathroom shower but Tracey dealt with it and quickly arranged a plumber to sort it. The cottage is located in a small quiet townvillage with a few shops and tasty fish and chip shop! I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends and hope to return again some day.

WOW! What a cottage! Facilities were brilliant everything we needed to hand we'd started taking our own essentials after previous cottage visits. The gardens are beautiful, with the garden nice and private! Grandkids enjoyed fishing and watching boats go past. The house was staggering VERY well fitted out with really comfy beds! Nice and quiet so had a great nights sleep! Sitting and dining areas big enough for 8 to sit together to eat and socialise. Overall, a great holiday let!

It is such lovely accommodation, the pictures online are exactly what you find. The village was lovely too, it made a great base for us to visit the North Norfolk coast. Everything you could want or need is nearby. Fishing was pretty good and being at the end of the garden an even bigger bonus. Tracey was lovely and very informative on places to visit etc. There was also a lovely welcome pack. We can't wait to return.

Only criticisms we found the pillows too big! Also 3 of the bedrooms only had a bedside table and lamp on 1 side which was a bit awkward.

Beautiful, spaceous & comfortable cottage. Very well equipped & appointed. Some surfaces & floors hadn't been cleaned to the standard we expected & there were some technical issues with certain appliances but the owner was very swift to try to rectify these, which we appreciated. Living space & bedrooms worked well for 2 familes staying together & the Americal fridge with ice & water dispenser was very popular! Thank you for the welcome goodies.
